Avenai is welcoming three new partners to its leadership ranks: Christine Hamilton, Samme Doshen and Marcus Davies.
Together, they bring decades of experience consulting to the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, helping clients plan and execute business changes.
“We are thrilled to announce Christine, Samme and Marcus as partners in Avenai,“ said CEO Chris Brennan. “Their drive, passion and talent are invaluable to our firm. We have no doubt that they will continue to be valuable assets to our leadership team and clients.”
After graduating with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Ottawa, Christine began her career working with the Treasury Board Secretariat and multinational PricewaterhouseCoopers. She later developed business plans for Nortel then joined Innovapost Inc.’s consulting practice, followed by the role of Vice-President with Stratford Managers, before becoming an associate partner at Avenai in 2015.
Samme is also a graduate of the University of Ottawa who, after earning her first degree, began her career working coop terms at IBM Canada and DMR Consulting before graduating and starting with Andersen Consulting. Samme went on to work for William Mercer and Accenture in New York before returning to Ottawa to work at Innovapost and then Avenai as an associate partner in 2014.
Marcus received his degree from Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland. Marcus moved to Canada and worked for Canada Post, Purolator, Innovapost and the City of Ottawa before joining Avenai as an associate partner in 2014. Marcus is a business transformation and change architect who specializes in partnering with organizations to bring transformational change through strategy development and organizational effectiveness.
“At Avenai we measure our success by our clients’ success, which is why we’re confident our consulting firm will only continue to thrive and grow with the addition of our three new partners,” said Brennan. “We look forward to the additional opportunities for our clients and our employees that having these three new partners brings.”
Avenai was founded in 2012 by Chris Brennan, David Allum, Mike Scotten and Brendan Timmins each of whom has extensive experience in business transformation, operations and management consulting. The consulting firm – with offices in Ottawa and Toronto – has grown its operations to more than 40 employees and continues to expand.
